My introduction to the Arabian horse was originally as many others, through art, magazines – and the few Arabian horses that I saw as a young girl. The first true “farm” I was blessed to visit was Valley Y Arabians Ranch located in Jasper, AR. Such an event sealed the deal for me – I was hooked – and never looked back.
Although I grew up with horses, none captivated me, even as a child, as did the Arabian. I knew even then – they were beyond any other equine I had owned. I have been able to share my life with many wonderful Arabians and look forward to the experiences to come.
Our breeding philosophy is simple – #1 – to remain a small and reputable breeder, #2 – breeding with the intent of producing a solid, intelligent, athletic Arabian that also encompasses the heart and soul of the original lineage from the desert, and #3 – To never be swayed by numbers or fads that do not promote viable lineage, but rather lead to its destruction. We, as breeders, owe it to this magnificent horse, as well as those who spent their lives protecting their heritage, to be the guardians of their past and their future. We are of the opinion, that the Arabian horses’ very existence is depending on it!
Our horses, mares and stallions, are selected with great care. The focus being placed on impeccable pedigrees, type and correct conformation combined with superb athletic movement. We also look to see a visual resemblance to the Arabians that were originally introduced to North America and the prized possessions of the Bedouins who bred them.
If you have never had the pleasure of meeting an Arabian in person, we would love to have the opportunity to have you visit our farm. Arabians are unlike any other horse you will ever know! We invite you to visit us and discover why owning a beautiful Arabian is truly one of life's greatest pleasures!
